Professor Gihan Wikramanayke has over 25 years of IT experience in diverse areas of the industry from systems design and development to ICT education. He is currently working as the director of the University of Colombo School of Computing (UCSC). He served four terms as the Chairman of BCS The Chartered Institute for IT, Sri Lanka Section and has been with BCS executive committee since 2003. Prof. Wikramanayake also served the Council of BCS UK from 2011/12 to 2013/14.
Ruwan Amarasekara has been a Chartered member of BCS and obtained his MBA from University of Sri Jayewardenepura. He has a Post graduate Diploma in Marketing and is an Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK. He has been an Executive Committee Member of BCS Sri Lanka Section since 2004. He was extensively involved in many projects carried out by the Sri Lanka Section mainly organising and judging activities of National Best Quality Software Awards (NBQSA) competition.
Ransith Fernando joined the Sri Lanka section of the BCS in 2006/07 and worked in the sub committees for the NBQSA and the Lecture Series. He served the committee for six years until 2011/12. In his professional life he manages SAP systems across MAS Holdings and is a member of the CIO Council of MAS. His current interests are on the harmonization of data across multiple SAP systems. He had around 23 years of experience in the IT field including management, offshore software development and training. Ransith has completed the BCS examinations. Additionally holds a NIBM Diploma, Computer Science Degree from the University of Colombo, MBA in IT from the University of Moratuwa. He has received further IT training in Belgium, UK, India, Japan and the US including executive education at Stanford Business School.
Mr. K V Kuganathan is a member of the British Computer Society. He holds B.Sc. (Hons) in Computing and Information Systems at the London Guildhall University and M.Sc In IT Consultancy with Distinction. He’s currently the Senior Manager – E Banking at Hatton National Bank PLC. He was working as a Technical assistant at Argos Business Solutions UK. He has over 16 years of experience in IT industry in the areas of IT Project Management, Software Development, and System Training. He has received further IT training in Singapore, UK, and India. In addition Certified Course Trainer on Appreciative Inquiry conducted by Appreciative Inquiry Committee, USA in New York.
Nirmalan holds over 23 years of experience in the IT industry serving in various capacities as IT Manager, IS Auditor, Project/Program Manager, Consultant /Head of strategic Consulting, Chief Consulting Officer (CCO) and as a Chief Operating Officer (COO). Currently he serves as the CEO / Managing Consultant of KenVisa.
His experience covers several industry sectors such as banking & finance, insurance, telecommunication, Airlines, garments, IT Service/ Software, education etc., and he is specialized in Best Practices and Business Process in the areas of IT and Management.
Nirmalan has over 20 years of experience as a visiting faculty for national and private/foreign Universities for undergraduate and Postgraduate programs in the areas of IT and Management. He has also taught for many professional exams conducted by professional bodies around the globe, In addition to the public workshops and corporate training programs done for many MNCs in the areas of Project / Program / Risk Management and IT Service Management in Sri Lanka and abroad.
He has served the Computer Society of Sri Lanka’s (CSSL) executive council and ISACA Sri Lanka chapter’s executive board in various capacities including Director, Secretary, Vice President for CSSL and as a Board Director, Membership Director, Marketing Director for ISACA. He is a Chartered member of BCS (UK), Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) USA.

Mr. Lionel Jayasinghe is an IT consultant, with over thirty years of experience in the IT industry. His experience covers IT Project Management, IT security & audit and Software engineering standards. He is a member of British Computer Society. He holds a MBA and a postgraduate diploma in Business administration from the University of Colombo.
He is a Certified IT Auditor and a Certified Project Manager. Mr. Jayasinghe is a Past President of ISACA Sri Lanka Chapter. He has conducted many public lectures and presentations in his specialized areas in national and International conferences. He has been serving as a member of the Judges Panel of NBQSA of BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT Sri Lanka Section since 2005.
Dr. Dileepa de Silva he is a well-known ICT Management Consultant and a pioneer in managing ICT education in Sri Lanka. He managed one of the largest ICT groups in Sri Lanka which has produced a large number of ICT professionals and graduates to the Industry. Dr. Dileepa de Silva was awarded the ICT Lifetime Achiever Award in 2008. He was a member of electronic committee of EDB in eighties which initiated the Vendors (SLCVA), Training (ACTOS) and Associations of Sri Lanka and founder member of INFOTEL. He was a past president of Sri Lanka Association for Software Industry (SLASI) and past Chairman of British Computer Society, Sri Lanka Section
Accomplished, motivated and versatile IT professional; System Architect, System Developer, Support Analyst, Business Analyst, and IT Consultant with over 22 years of experience in the IT industry. He holds professional qualifications such as ACS, MBCS and also a Chartered IT Professional at BCS the Chartered Institute for IT (CITP). Substantial part of his industry experience was had at Hewlett Packard Sri Lanka & Singapore, CONRAC Germany and Seven Seas Computers & Microsoft UAE. He was the person who handled the work load of Conrac GMBH (Germany) within the Sri-Lankan territory as the authorized representative from CONRAC Germany to the BIA Expansion project from 2004 to 2006.
Mr. Shanaka Prassanna Rajapakse is a member of the British Computer Society and a executive committee member for the last 2 years. Shanaka has over 15 years of experience in the IT industry in the area’s including management, ERP and BI solutions’ project management etc…He was pioneered in implementing the software and automating the cold storage warehouse project which is owned by Finlay’s PLC Srilanka joint venture with Finlay’s U.K and Swire group.
Mr. Alanzo Doll has over 17 years experience in the IT industry in the areas of ERP & BI solutions, IT Project Management and Software development. He is presently employed by IBM World Trade Corporation Sri Lanka as their Software IT Architect. His previous work experience includes Microsoft Sri Lanka where he was employed from the inception of its Sri Lankan subsidiary in 2004 up to 2009. He has been closely working with the NBQSA subcommittee for the past years.
Mr. Sanharsha Jayatissa is a Fellow Member (FBCS) of the British computer society. He has 10 years experience in the area of Information Technology Management. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Information Systems from The Manchester Metropolitan University (UK) as well as two masters degrees, an MSc in Information Technology & Management from Keele University (UK) and an MBA in General Management from the Cardiff Metropolitan University (UK). He also holds a Diploma in Project Management and a Yellow Belt in Six Sigma.
Mr. Sanjeeva Perera, a member of BCS, has over 20 years of experience diversified in many areas in the ICT industry. His highly diversified expertise within the software lifecycle ranges from software designing, development, testing, network administration, database administration to IT project management. His career has brought him knowledge in electronics engineering, telecommunication, and electrical engineering. Further he has been a candidate, sought after by many prestigious institutes both local and international, such as SITA, PageNet and The National Medical Products Company Limited in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. His overseas experience has given him exposure and confidence in program analysis, widening his vastly diversified skill portfolio. Sanjeeva is a Microsoft Certified Professional and has been trained at the Huawei University in China and in Singapore. Further, he holds certificates from Linux and Oracle for his proficiency in these technologies. Sanjeeva is professionally qualified in Electronics and Telecommunications engineering from The City & Guilds of London. He holds multiple diplomas and certificates from, Institute for telecommunication Engineers, National Institute of Business Management, Singapore Institute for Management in recognition of his expertise. He has a MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies of Rajarata University. Sanjeeva serves the section committee as an executive committee member since 2010. He is also a member of NBQSA organizing committee since 2009. Sanjeeva has served NBQSA as a National Level ICT Judge from 2010 onwards. He is currently working at Dialog Axiata PLC in the Enterprise IT division as a Unit Manager.
Mr. Lakmal Embuldeniya has been a Professional member of BCS, CIIT since 2009. He graduated from Curtin University of Technology, Australia in the field of Computer Systems & Networking. He also obtained Special Honors in IT from the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT) in 2009. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and serves as the Marketing Director of Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) Sri Lanka Chapter since 2013.
Joined BCS in 2004, work as the Country Manager at present representing BCS UK in Sri Lanka. As the country manager she holds the responsibility of managing overall business in Sri Lanka whilst executing the administration of Regional office, developing new centres & new Course Providers, increase the market share, conduct events such as annual Graduation Ceremonies, Marketing, Exhibitions, develop relations with the private & Public sector Institutions for BCS in Sri Lanka.
